Born July 21, 1926 in Warren, OH, to the late Karl and Dora (Fisher) Schink.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife Dorothy.
Surviving Albert is his son, Jack W. (Barbara) Schink, of Doylestown, PA; daughters Pamela Robinson, of Jupiter, FL and Linda (Jeffrey) Swartz, of Shippensburg, PA; grandchildren, Janelle Colvin, Jamie Martens, Justin Schink, Jennifer Timmons, Melissa Stouffer, Emily Besecker, and Rebecca Swartz; and great grandchildren Jack, Mia, and Sophia Schink, Lillian and Ryan Colvin, Tenley and Logan Timmons, Brayden, Carter, and Paytyn Stouffer, and David and Juliette Martens.
Albert was a proud veteran of the Army Air Force, serving from 1944-1946 as a radio/radar operator providing search and rescue operations off the east coast of the United States. Albert spent 42 years working for his beloved Pennsylvania Railroad (Penn Central, Conrail). He began his career unloading boxcars and steadily progressed through numerous positions including relief agent, manager of loss and damage, and eventually as a Senior Consultant within the IT group. Albert was devoted to his wife of 69 years and nothing was more important to him than his family. Albert loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman, hunter, and golfer. He was a 33rd degree Mason and a member of the Harrisburg Consistory. To say Albert loved talking to people would be an understatement. Anyone who met him immediately felt as if they had known him for years.
A burial will be held in Rolling Green Memorial Park at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church, 1500 S. Kanner Hwy, Stuart, FL 34994.
