Born on September 17, 1929, in Washington, DC, to the late Halley Augustine and Lucille Catherine Armentrout.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband Gordon White Luhn.
Surviving Eveyln is her daughter Sandra Harber; grandson, Charles E. Harber II (Cynthia) of Dillsburg; granddaughter, Tabitha D. Harber of Mechanicsburg; five great grandchildren, Sheldon Snyder (Joann), Mickenzie Snyder, Austin Snyder, Andrew Harber and Savannah Harber; five great great-grandchildren, Mikaela McNew, Mitchell Venker, Meadow Snyder, Myles Snyder and Bryson Snyder.
Evelyn lived an adventurous life, she enjoyed traveling greatly whether with her family or on solo trips taking many cruises throughout her life. She even received an award for having stayed over a year at sea during her travels and would often meet with the captain of the ships she was on, becoming a familiar face to staff and making many new acquaintances.
A celebration of Evelyn’s life will be held at her family’s convenience over at Crossroad Bible Church in Dillsburg. Her burial will take place in Garden Sanctuary Cemetery in Seminole, FL.
