

Gia Lynne Scordo Glinatsis, 37, of Mechanicsburg, passed away suddenly as a result of an auto accident, Monday, June 15, 2015. She is survived by her husband of 11 years, Nomikos (Michael) Glinatsis and three beautiful children, two sons, Peter Michael, Anthony George and a daughter Litsa Gianna. Also survived by proud parents Robert and Susan Scordo, of Linglestown; sister Kristy Green and husband Tor, Susquehanna Township; grandfather Dominic Scordo, Susquehanna Township; in-laws Peter and Litsa Glinatsis, Camp Hill; Irene and Dean Gekas and children, Michael, Connor and Peter, Scottsdale, Arizona; and Angela Cameron and children Andrew and Nicholas, Mechanicsburg and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was pre-deceased by maternal grandparents Kenneth and Rebecca Miller and maternal Aunt Kathleen Nye and paternal grandmother Anna Scordo. Gia graduated from Central Dauphin East High School in 1995 and continued her education with Empire Beauty School. She opened her salon, Dulcis Salon and Spa, as a single owner/operator in July 2009, which has now grown to several employees and 2,000 square feet of space including private areas for hair replacement. She loved making her clients look beautiful. She would travel to weddings to provide hair and makeup services for bridal parties. Her salon participated in many fund-raising events, Vickie's Angel Walk, American Cancer Society, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and St. Baldricks. Gia married her best friend Mike on October 18, 2003 and were blessed with three children. She was very involved with the many sports/activities in which their children participated. She loved to travel to Disney and go to Hershey Park with her family. Her smile would light up any room. Gia lived life to the fullest and is loved by so many who will miss her terribly. Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 PM Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 1000 Yverdon Dr., Camp Hill. Burial will be in Rolling Green Cemetery. A viewing will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday until the time of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to her church or to The American Cancer Society, 3211 N.
