Irene M. Kalbach

Irene M. Kalbach, 94, passed away on December 6, 2021. She was born in Huntingdon, PA, on October 28, 1927, to the late Nina DeVore Mierley and Clarence L. Mierley. She attended Huntingdon High School and graduated from Lemoyne High School.

Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Kalbach, Sr.; her sister and brother-in-law, Clara and Gerald Garner; grandson Daniel Kalbach and infant great-granddaughter Ava Grace Kalbach.

She is survived by two sons, Robert H. Kalbach, Jr. (Chiara), Mechanicsburg, and Richard C. Kalbach (Denise), Mechanicsburg; four grandchildren, Robert H. Kalbach III (Giselle), Katie Logue (Jeff), Nathan Kalbach, Drew Kalbach (Vanessa); three great-grandchildren, Sarah Kalbach and Bryce and Brady Logue; one niece, Nina Kersetter (Jerry) and one nephew, John Garner (Sheri).

Irene will be lovingly remembered by her family. Special thanks to the professionals at Thornwald Home in Carlisle for the many ways they cared for her.

Services will be privately held at Neill Funeral Home, Camp Hill, at the convenience of her family.
