Lars O Feese

Lars Olof Feese, 76, of Mechanicsburg, PA, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2011, at his residence. He was born August 2, 1935, in Williamsport, PA, son of the late Olof David and Dorothy Elizabeth (Harman) Feese.

Lars served in the United States Navy, attended Lycoming College and Stanford University. He is a retired Hydrologist from the National Weather Service. In his retirement he enjoyed working for Weis Market in Mechanicsburg and Classic Drycleaner and Laundromat in Mechanicsburg. He loved baseball and was an avid Phillies fan.

Lars was a member of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, John F. Laedlein Lodge and Naval Weather Service Association.

He was preceded in death by a sister Claire Hornberger and son-in-law Angel Luis Luciano Sr.

Lars is survived by his wife of 45 years, Deemetrice Louise (George) Feese, daughter, Demetra Louise Luciano, of Mechanicsburg, son, Lars William Feese, of Nashville, TN, daughter –in-law, Kim Totzke, grandchildren; Vincent Farr, Athena Luisa Luciano and Andonia Olivia Luciano, sisters: Helen Coughlin of Jupiter, FL and Dottie Dibble(Gary) of Orlando, FL, father and mother- in- law , William and Verna George of Mechanicsburg , many nieces and nephews and close friends.

Viewing will be Friday October 7, 2011 from 6-8 PM, at Neill Funeral Home, 3401 Market St. Camp Hill.

Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 Am Saturday, October 8, 2011 from Neill Funeral Home, Rev. Norman Evans officiating. Entombment will be at Rolling Green Memorial Park.
