

He was born November 28, 1927 in Pine Grove, son of the late Arthur and Mary (Lehman) Hummel.
Paul was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Navy. Prior to retirement he was employed with Pennsylvania Power and Light Company for over 42 years.
He was a member of St. Timothy Evangelical Lutheran Church, Camp Hill, life member of Elks Lodge, Sunbury, PA, American Legion, and the Penn State Alumni Association.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Hummel.
Paul is survived by his wife of 61 years Ruth (Fessler) Hummel, of Mechanicsburg, daughter and son-in-law Diane and Peter Nanov, of Mechanicsburg, grandchildren, Peter Christopher and Lisa Michelle Nanov, 2 sisters, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at St. Timothy Evangelical Lutheran Church, 4200 Carlisle Pike, Camp Hill, with viewing one hour prior to service. Interment will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Timothy Memorial Fund.
