He was born September 6, 1931 in Morgantown, WV, son of the late Mariano and Josephine (Latona) Scordato.
He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Navy. Prior to retirement he was employed as a Program Analyst with the U.S. Government.
He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Catholic Church, VFW post # 6704 Mechanicsburg, American Legion post # 26, Dillsburg, National Active and Retired Federal Employees, PA Association of Retired State Employees, Capital City Polka Dancers, The Green Street Vegetarian Club and Sons of Italy.
Preceded in death by his brother, Frank Scordato and sister, Rose Scordato.
Survived by his wife, Clara (Cianfrocco) Scordato, of Mechanicsburg, son Michael Scordato, of Morgantown, WV, brother, Joseph Scordator and his wife, Alma, of, West Barnstable, MA and granddaughter, Anna Marie Scordato.
Graveside service will be 1:00 PM, Friday, October 18, 2019 at East Oak Grove Cemetery, Morgantown, WV.
