

Thomas D. Boyle, age 94, of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at the Homeland Center. Born in Mahanoy City, PA on February 2, 1929, to the late James and Bertha Boyle, he attended St. Canicus School and was a 1946 graduate of Mahanoy City High School.
He served in the U.S. Army in the Occupation Forces of Japan after World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anne Doyle Boyle, brothers John, Richard and his sister Aileen. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Camp Hill, Good Shepherd Council 16685 of the Knights of Columbus, a Fourth-Degree member of Bishop Shanahan Assembly 917 and Serra Club of Harrisburg.
He was a member of the Camp Hill American Legion Post 43 and Charter officer and past Exalted Ruler of West Shore BPO Elks Lodge 2257, PDDGER of the PBO and the past President of United Cerebral Palsy of Central PA, where he enjoyed playing Santa for more years than we can count, bringing smiles to hundreds of children.
He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service, serving as postmaster of Lemoyne and retired as Division Director of Communications and Marketing with 40 years of service.
A viewing for Thomas will be held Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 3435 Trindle Rd, Camp Hill, Pennsylvania 17011. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow the viewing at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 1313 S York Street, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania 17055.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Camp Hill, PA.
