It is with Heavy hearts as a family we announce the death of Kevin who died at home in Campbell River, BC, with his family by his side, after a long illness. Kevin was a husband, a father, a brother, a grandpa and a papa. Kevin was born in Come By Chance, Newfoundland. He left Newfoundland as a young man to join the Royal Canadian Air Force. After leaving the Air Force he went to work for a company where he designed and built electronic equipment. He eventually went on to start his own contracting company. This job took him and his family all across Canada. Kevin was extremely knowledgeable and well respected. The family eventually settled in Abbottsford where Kevin built their dream home. Kevin and Pamela eventually retired to Campbell River in 2016 with many plans but Kevin became ill before that could happen.
Spending time with his family was important to him. His interests included camping, reading, flying, playing chess, making wooden clocks and oh how he loved his chocolate!
Kevin is survived by his wife of 50 years Pamela, sons David, Brian and Philip and daughters Kym and Karin, 7 sister, 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and his 4 legged friend Max.
He was preceded in death by his sister Patricia, his mother Dorothy and his twin brother Tony who only preceded him by 4 months.
