Margaret Dagbjort Miller

Margaret will always be remembered as a kind and loving woman. She was strong and courageous in the face of profound loss, continually finding the strength to carry on with grace, compassion, and generosity toward the family and friends she cherished. Family was everything to Margaret. She was always there when she was needed and leaves behind a lasting legacy of love, resilience, and deep compassion.

Margaret is survived by her daughter, Melanie Miller (Malcolm); her sister, Gay Check; and her second love, Lloyd Gabrielson. She was a devoted grandmother to Lindsay Sieber (Matthew), Wesley McCulloch (Renae), Megan Miller (Eddie), and Jesse Miller, and a proud great-grandmother to Ty, Anika, Camille, Lily, Francis, Fox, Elysia, Iris, and Greyson. She is also fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and cherished friends.

She was predeceased by her husband, Wesley Miller; her sons, Tyler, Victor, and Cary; her daughter, Belinda; and her grandsons, Wade and Quin.

A celebration of Margaret’s life will be held on February 7 at 1:00 p.m. at the Salvation Army Church, 291 McLean Street, Campbell River. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and honour her life.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army in honour of Margaret’s lifelong commitment to helping make the world a better place.
