It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Peggy Morrison on Thursday, August 9, 2012 in Campbell River, BC at the age of 76 years. She was born in Grand Forks B.C. She is survived by her sister Norah (John Ryan), niece Janice Slater and great niece and nephew Heather and Rob Gjesdal. Cousins Elaine Giesbrecht, Harvey Bell (Chris) and many good friends. Peggy is predeceased by her mother and father Isabel and Donald Morrison. Peggy lived most of her life in Vancouver. She worked in Burnaby, Vancouver, New Zealand, London and Sydney. During that time she worked as a teacher and an administrator. Peggy traveled extensively. After retiring she volunteered with the West End Senior's Network. Peggy enjoyed cooking, reading, gardening and walks in Stanley Park.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 17th, 2012 at 2 pm in Saint Andrews-Wesley United Church, 1012 Nelson Street, Vancouver. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
