Corinne was born on April 16, 1959 in Campbellton, NB, to the late Céline (Bujold) Thomas and the late James Thomas.
She is survived by her children, Celina, Ryan (Christina Harding), and Lisa (Scott Duncan); her brother and sister, Allan (Joanne) and Ann (Kevin MacIntosh); her grandchildren, Caleb, Oliver, James, and Daniel; and many nieces and nephews.
Corinne’s journey was marked by a strong work ethic and deep devotion to her family. She worked various jobs over the years, and in time, she relocated her family to Halifax, NS, where they lived for 16 years. There, she embraced the unknown and began a new chapter in life with her beloved family by her side. After many fulfilling years in Halifax, she returned to her hometown and settled in Flatlands, NB, into a home that offered her a sense of peace and belonging. Corinne lived there until her health no longer allowed her to do so.
She was known for her unwavering devotion to her family. Her love for cooking brought people together around the dinner table, creating countless cherished memories. Her garden, a source of pride and joy, reflected her nurturing spirit.
Upon retiring in 2020, Corinne embraced a life centered around the simple pleasures that brought her joy and comfort. Her relationship with her grandson Caleb was a precious treasure; they would spend hours exploring virtual worlds together through various video games. Corinne also found solace in the pages of her favorite books. Never far from her side was her devoted feline companion, Blue.
Corinne’s family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the staff at the Campbellton Regional Hospital for their care and compassion.
