I and my brother were so  saddened to hear of Danny,s passing.  Another tide header gone far too soon.

I went to school in tide head and remember the Farrar family  well, the good times going to the Tide Head school  the good times.

I am deeply saddened to hear about Danny's passing. I have such fond memories of our time in Campbellton during the early 80s to early 90s.  As new neighbors we hit it off right out of the gate, and I think he had fun with the fact that I knew nothing about taking care of a home—he was always there to take charge and lend me a hand. 

We became close friends during that time, sharing many beers and enjoying epic battles of video baseball.

Danny was a stand-up guy; he would do anything for a stranger and even more for a friend. He stood his ground when needed, which I always admired. 

I was blessed enough to see Danny one more time in Moncton. He told me he knew he was not going to beat this cancer but only hoped that what he was going through would help others. That was Danny, true to form.

Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Reading the tributes here and on social media show what a kind and generous person Danny was.  All who crossed his path felt like an old friend immediately.  He always stopped to chat when I was out for a walk, especially if I had the dog with me, and he was on his way to or from his camp.  My Dad always enjoyed when he stopped to chat with him over the years when Danny was driving by, and Dad was out in the yard.  And he encouraged me when I was about to take my PAL test.  My sympathies go out to Janice and Danny's family and friends.  Cherish your memories and remember, this is not something to get over but get through and his spirit lives on.

My deepest sympathy Janice,Farrah family and Danny’s many friends.He was a great neighbor for close to 40 years. He was always there if I needed any help with things that I had no clue about.My kids had a trail through his trees to go visit him. Rest easy Danny and we will take care of Janice for you.

Danny was a great friend. One who I have many many cherished memories with. He was so thoughtful and generous. So many laughs shared over many a bud light. I recently had the opportunity to say goodbye to him alongside my son who knows just how special Danny was to me. 

I will remember him fondly. My thoughts go out to his family and fellow friends.

Many great memories at work, at our personal camps and the South East Falls camp.Enjoyed many great meals there ,thanks to Danny.River trips during salmon season and sawning season and many long nights in clear cuts and swamps during moose season.Also memories of a few hours spent getting unstuck.
