

At the Campbellton Regional Hospital, Sunday January 25, 2009, at the age of 79, passed away Mrs. Doreen Lagacé, wife of the late Leonard Lagacé and friend of Maurice Bourdages. She was the daughter of late Delima (Brideau) and late Hubert Comeau.
She will be sadly missed by her 14 children: Johnny (Geraldine) of Campbellton, Robert (Nancy) of Campbellton, Rachel (Fred) of Brockville, Ont., Claudette (Anne) of Campbellton, Diane (Marcel) of Campbellton, Therese (John) of Campbellton, Kathleen (Denis) of Dieppe, Raymond (Rita) of Campbellton, Roland (Huguette) of Campbellton, Ricky (Bonnie) of Campbellton, Richard (Carla) of Campbellton, Vincent (Tina) of Listuguj, Qc, Suzanne (Grant) of Dunnville, Ont, and Daniel (Janet) of Campbellton; her 28 grandchildren and her 14 great grandchildren; her special friend Maurice Bourdages of Broadlands; her sister Bertha Comeau (Charlie) of St-Lin, Qc; her brothers: Leonard (Claudia) of Vaudreuil, Qc and Richard of Dalhousie. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, Leonard, her son Roger, her daughter Mathilda, her grandson Bruno, her granddaughter Isabelle and her parents.
The funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at the Our Lady of Snows Church, Campbellton, and celebrated by Father Romeo Morrison with burial in the parish cemetery in the spring.
