Edith Lapointe

Sunday, November 6th, 2016 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital, at the age of 90, passed away Mrs. Edith Lapointe of Campbellton and formerly of Eel River Crossing, Wife of the late Joseph Pierre Lapointe.  She was the daughter of the late Bertha (nee Landry) and the late David Carey.

She will be sadly missed by her children: David (Joanne) of Ontario, Richard of St-Aubin, Jules (Nicole) of Eel River Crossing, Lilianne of Ontario, Jean-Paul of  Campbellton, Rina (Mike) of Pointe-la-Nim, Jacques (Denise) of Eel River Crossing, Linda (Denis) of Campbellton, Ginette (Jacques) of Balmoral, Mario (Mona) of Eel River Crossing and Pierre of Eel River Crossing; her 32 grandchildren;  her 29 great grandchildren; her 2 great great grandchildren; her sisters : Cécile of Québec, Clémence of Maria and Lilianne of Miguasha also by many members of the Lapointe family, nieces, nephews and friends. 

She was predeceased by her husband, her parents, her sisters and brothers: Rita, Jeannine, Bertha, Marguerite, Edmond, Édouard, Gérard, Robert, Jean, Hubert, Raymond and Norbert.

Funeral mass will be held on Saturday morning November 12at 11 am in the St. Trinity Church, Eel River Crossing.  Mrs. Edith Lapointe will rest at Savoie Parlor situated at 10 d’Église St., Eel River Crossing on Friday afternoon from 2 till 4 and evening from 7 till 9 also on Saturday morning from 9:30 am till time of funeral.
