It’s with great sadness we announce the passing of our mother, Evangeline Elizabeth (Norma Palmater) Noël at the age of 83 years old, on Saturday, October 17th, 2020. She was predeceased by her husband Leo, her two sons Gary and Donald, her brothers Lionel, Nelson and her sister Sandra.
She leaves behind her sons Pastor Gordon (Denise), Bobby (Ruth) and her daughter Wanda (Jerry) Duguay. Her grandchildren Robert, Cody, Shannon and Joshua. Her great grandchildren, Chelsea, Katlyn, Jarrett, Alexandria, Emma, Alexis, Maddison and Samuel. Her 7 sisters and 1 brother. Many nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to Wanda, Angie, Shelby, Kelsea and Donna and the Restigouche Extra-Mural for all their amazing care. Mom was able to stay in her home until the end.
She was a loving wife, caring mother and grandmother. She was a stay home mom, when that was popular to care of her husband and 5 children. She enjoyed cooking, knitting, crocheting and dancing. She took the time to teach her children to dance, cook, clean and be kind to people. She always enjoyed a good game of cards.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in the New Life Church, Dalhousie, when the situation of the pandemic will be over.
