Francois Savoie

On Tuesday April 11th, 2017 at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital Center of Moncton, on the day of his 35th birthday, has passed away François Savoie, son of Charles Savoie and Céline (Roussel) Savoie from Atholville.

Beside his parents, François leaves to mourn a brother Mathieu (Erica Langdo) from Edmundston; his paternal grandparents Georges & Anne-Marie Savoie from Atholville; several uncles, aunts, cousins & many friends. He also leaves to mourn his godparents Robert and Pierrette Savoie from Atholville.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Zéphirin and Marie-Reine Roussel of Campbellton.

Diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, François lived his life to the fullest and his good humor and laughter were contagious. He was an avid fan of the Montreal Canadians; he loved sports and muscle cars. He was loved by all who came to know him.

Service will be held on Tuesday April 18th, 2017 at 4pm at the Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Church in Campbellton. Visitation will be held at Savoie Funeral Home, 47 Alexander Street in Campbellton, on Monday April 17, 2017 from 7pm to 9pm and on April 18, 2017 from 2pm till time of funeral.
