Besides his friend Lucienne Carey of Dalhousie, he will be sadly missed by his children: Marie-Josée (Ghislain Gionet) of Dunlop, Pascale of Montréal, Ghyslain (Stéphanie Roy) of Nigadoo and Jean-François (Aminata Soumah) of Campbellton; his grandchildren : Rebecca (Yannick), Benoit (Ashley), Amy-Lou, Emma, Ryan, Joey, Angèle, Marissa and Jasmine; his great grandchildren : Maélie and a baby to come; the mother of his children Thérèse Cook of Pointe-à-la-Croix; his brothers and sisters: Paul, Jeannette, Georgette, Roger, Clarence and Roméo also by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic and social distancing protocols, the funeral will be held with the family’s invitation only. Respecting Mr. Georges H. Rioux’s wishes, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A donation to the Parkinson Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
