

Monday, December 16th, 2019 at the Campbellton Nursing Home, at the age of 98, passed away Mrs. Ida Roy of Campbellton, wife of the late Yvon Roy. She was the daughter of the late Mary (born Landry) and the late Hector Doucet.
She will be sadly missed by her children: Carmel (Gerald Dumont) of Campbellton, Pauline (Gary Russell) of Campbellton, Claudette (Michael Steeves) of Calgary, Janet of Campbellton, Marie (Jim Marriner) of Upper Coverdale, NB, Rene (Patti Mills) of North Port, Florida and Robert (Wendy Keays) of New Mills; her 7 grandsons; 12 great grandchildren; her sister Carmel (Allan Roy) of Jacquet River; her brother George Doucet (Noreen) of Campbellton also by many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Yvon, her parents, her brothers and sisters: Brother Pat, Adrian, Joe, Alphee, Arthur, Marie, Eileen, Theresa and Irma.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic and social distancing protocols, a private burial will take place at St. Joseph’s Parish Cemetery, Nash Creek, NB. with the family’s invitation only. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Campbellton Village Nursing Home, St. Joseph’s Parish Cemetery, Nash Creek, or to the donor’s choice, would be appreciated by the family.
