Monday, April 16th, 2018 at his residence at the age of 73, passed away Mr. Jean Melanson, of Campbellton and formerly of St-Maure, husband of Mrs. Thérèse (born Diotte) Melanson. He was the son of the late Eugénie (born Savoie) and the late Joseph Melanson.
Besides his wife Thérèse, he will be sadly missed by his sons: Gilles (Kathleen Vienneau) of Eel River Crossing and Luc (Charline Babineau) of Moncton; his sister Clairine (Guy Savoie) of Moncton also by many members of the Diotte family, nieces, nephews and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents and sisters Orietta and Alida.
The funeral mass will be held on Friday, April 20th, 2018 at 4pm in the St. Benoit Church, Balmoral. Mr. Jean Melanson will rest at Savoie Parlor, situated at 10 Church St., Eel River Crossing on Thursday evening from 7 till 9 also on Friday afternoon from 2 till time of funeral. A donation to the Lung Association would be greatly appreciated by the family.
