Maria Maltais

At the Campbellton Regional Hospital on Sunday, June 20th, 2010 at the age of 88, has passed away Mrs. Maria Maltais of Atholville Antoinette Manor and formerly of Maltais, wife of the late Theodule Maltais.  She was the daughter of the late James Audet and late Rose Anna Raymond.

She will be sadly missed by her daughters : Emilienne of Moncton, Marina (Roger Levesque) of Balmoral, Marie-Anne (Rene Thibeault) of Balmoral, Fernande (Ronald Savoie) of Dundee and Carmelle (Victor Francoeur) of Maltais ; her sons : Gerald (Lise) of Balmoral, Paul-Emile (Yvette) of Maltais, Jim (Marielle) of Belledune, Raymond (Joanne) of Balmoral, Normand (Rachelle) of Hearst, Ont. and Norbert (Nicole) of Bathurst ; her 30 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren; her sisters: Rose-Anna Hachey of Maltais and Elizabeth Roy (Raymond) of Maltais ; her sister-in-law Therese (Jean-Yves) of Montreal.  She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. 

She was predeceased recently by her husband, also by her son Belonie, her parents and by many sisters and brothers.  

Funeral mass will be held at the Our Lady of Sacred Heart Church, Val d’Amour on Thursday, June 24 at 4 pm.  Visitations will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 23 from 2 – 4 pm and 7 – 9 pm, also on Thursday from 2 pm till time of funeral.
