Melvina Maltais

Saturday, June 22th, 2013 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital, at the age of 76, passed away Mrs. Melvina Maltais, wife of the late René Haché (first marriage) and Mr. Romain Maltais (second marriage).  She was the daughter of the late Aldea (Savoie) and late Laurence Pitre.

She will be sadly missed by her husband Romain, her children : Marc (Emella LeBlanc) of  Val d’Amour, Géralda of Val d’Amour, Diane (Ange-Emile Savoie) of Val d’Amour, Nadine (Mario Lagacé) of Val d’Amour, Christiane (Yvon Levesque) of Atholville, Christian (Sophie Lagacé) of Campbellton and Rino (Danielle Maltais) of Campbellton; her grandchildren : Kevin, Dany, Daniel, René, Natasha, Jean-Francois, Sébastien, Samanta, Nicolas, Marilie, Caleb and Eva; great-grandchildren: Zoélie, Malik, Taly et Yoan ; her sister and brothers: Nicole Chouinard (Gilles) of Balmoral, Patrick (Madeleine) of Val d'Amour, Romain (Madeleine) of Val d'Amour, Alcide (Suzanne) of Val d'Amour also by many members of the Haché & Maltais families, nieces, nephews and friends. 

She was predeceased by her first husband René Haché, her parents, her stepmother Victoria, her brothers and her sister: Aldéa, Norbert and Roland.

The funeral mass will be held on Friday, July 5th, 2013 at 2 pm in the Our Lady of Sacred Heart Church, Val d’Amour.   Family will receive condolences in church one hour prior to celebration. A donation to the Tree of Hope Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
