

Gregory Charles Glynn passed away unexpectedly on December 17th at the age of 84. He had been a resident of the Los Angeles area for almost 50 years. For the past year and a half, he had resided at Brookdale Senior living Ocean House in Santa Monica, California. Greg was born in Albany, N.Y. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Agnes Egan Glynn, his father, James J. Glynn and his sister Camilla Glynn Healey. He is survived by his sister Mary Ellen Delaney from Salem, MA. Greg attended Vicentian Institute in Albany, Holy Cross College in Worcester, MA and Yale Law School in Connecticut. He also received an MS in Physics. He was a valedictorian in High school as well as Holy Cross.
He was a member of the Yale Law review and graduated as one of the top of his class.
Most of his years as an attorney were spent with the Security and Exchange Commission in L.A. as a trial lawyer.
He also practiced law in Connecticut and Annapolis. He retired from the Security and Exchange Commission in his early 70's.
Greg enjoyed sailing and was a member of a running club for 40 years .He enjoyed both of these sports.
He was also a member of the Benedictine Oblate at St. Andrews Abby.
Greg was known for his quick wit and congeniality towards others.
Greg was a friend of Bill's and always enjoyed the friends he made through him.
He will be sincerely missed by his three cats, Betsy, Orange guy and Dunsie whom he revered. All three of these loving animals all need a loving and forever home, ASAP.
A memorial service will be held at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Beverly Hills, on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 10:30am.
