Lee is survived by his Wife Linda Short, Jamie Hazzard his Daughter and Chris Marks, Jennifer Dagher his Niece and Mark Dagher, Tyler Walcott and Mitchell Dagher his Grandsons, Cathy Solymar his Sister and Michael Solymar, Ryan Solymar his Nephew and Kristen Burroughs, and Sean Solymar his Nephew.
Lee was very proud of his service in the United States Army and his 34 years of service with the Los Angeles Unified School District.
Lee became a pet owner for the very first time when a little grey kitten walked up to him on the street. He named him Thomas. In lieu of flowers the Family asks that donations be made in Lee's name to the ASPCA or your local animal shelter.
A memorial service for Lee will be held Friday, August 23, 2024 at 2:30 PM at Los Angeles National Cemetery, 950 S. Sepulveda Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90049.
