Beloved husband, son, grandson, and brother, Steven Joseph Carletti, went home to be with the Lord on March 7, 2014. An avid gardener, Steve’s touch could make any plant flourish and any vegetable grow. A Business Manager at DeVry University, he was an extremely diligent worker, but could always take time out to play with his precious granddaughter, Eirin Garcia.
Steve was born in Los Angeles, CA on September 14, 1955, to Rosalie Jean Lombardo and William Mario Carletti, Sr. He graduated from St. Genevieve High School in 1973 and went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree from DeVry University. He was a resident of Canoga Park.
Steve is survived by his wife, Marilou Carletti, siblings, Billy Carletti, Connie Senner and husband Rich Senner, Cliff Carletti, and Terry Boysen. Steve is also survived by his “second mother and grandmother,” Arlene Carletti and Norma Aviles.
Visitation Friday, March 14, 2014, 4:00-8:00 p.m., with Rosary at 7:00 at Gates Kingsley & Gates, located at 6909 Canoga Ave., Canoga Park. Funeral Mass and Burial Saturday, March 15th at 10:00 a.m., St. John Eudes, 9901 Mason Ave., Chatsworth, and Oakwood Memorial Park, 22601 Lassen St., Chatsworth. Reception to follow.
