Albert was quite a character. He was well known around the town of Franklin. He would often be seen collecting cans just to cash them in and buy scratch tickets at the local convenience store. He also liked to spend time visiting his friends at the various local businesses; he could often be found hanging out at the fire station. Albert was a practical joker, who loved to steal stuff and hide it just for a laugh. He was an avid gambler, and enjoyed taking trips to the local casino. He had the opportunity to travel to Las Vegas with a few of his family members, a major highlight in his life. Albert was fiercely independent, and loved to take the train into Boston to sightsee. He was always singing, karaoke was one of his favorite past times. He also loved fried food, and shared a love for animals with his late sister Anna. He will be deeply missed by his family at Highridge Road.
Albert is predeceased by his parents, Harry and Ida (Rubin) Wolk, as well as his sister Anna Yanofsky and her husband Robert.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, August 7th at 11 AM at Stanetsky Memorial Chapels, 475 Washington Street, Canton. Interment to follow at Sharon Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University, 200 Westboro Road, North Grafton, MA 01536 would be appreciated.
