

Barry Koltz, of Stoughton, MA, formerly of Delray Beach, FL, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2015 amid the tears, joy, and laughter of family. He was the beloved husband of Sandra (Gotthardt) Koltz and the dear son of the late Morris and Sally (Kalicka) Koltz. Mr. Koltz was the devoted father of Amy Griffing and her late husband Bob of Stoughton, MA, Mark Koltz and his wife Karen of Braddock Heights, MD, and Joel Koltz and his wife Rachel of Southborough, MA. He was the proud grandfather of Lindsey, Michael, Daniel, Rebecca, and Leah. Mr. Koltz was the brother of Jordan Koltz of Holyoke, MA.
Mr. Koltz grew up in Revere Beach, MA and served in the Korean War with the US Navy. He attended Boston University and enjoyed a long and successful career in the footwear industry as a salesman, manager, and senior buyer. His 60 year love affair with Sandra began in 1956. They traveled the world including trips to South America, Europe, the Far East, and Alaska. He loved Boston sports, tennis, and family BBQs.
He was a special man with a heart of gold … an inspiring father, grandfather, and devoted husband. We will miss his smile, advice, patience, friendship, and wisdom. Goodbye Besh ... Full of Mirth.
A celebration of Barry's life will be held at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton, MA on Sunday, June 28, 2015 at 12 pm.
