Benjamin Spector

Beloved husband of the late Doris (Herman) Spector and the late Edith “Yuddie” (Bloom) (Seligman) Spector. Devoted father of Miriam Spector Temple, her late husband Lenard W. Temple and her fiancé Richard C. Silver, and the late Joel Marc Spector. Stepfather of Howard Seligman and his late wife Lois, and Edward Seligman and his wife Donna. Loving brother of Leona Spector, Barbara Tobasky and her husband Louis, and Thelma Levitan and her husband Larry. Cherished grandfather of Stephanie Amkraut and her husband Seth, Joshua Temple and his wife Hannah, and step-grandfather of Adam (Tammy) Seligman, Todd Seligman, Jessica (Chris) Guyer and Ariana (Anthony) Esdra; and proud great-grandfather of Sydney Belle Amkraut, Alyssa Leigh Temple and Aiden Joseph Temple. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A WWII Army veteran, Ben worked at General Electric for over 30 years. One of his favorite pastimes was going to the races in Revere, MA, and he eventually become the owner of Mohawk Stables and had his own race horses. His greatest joy, however, was being a father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be truly missed.

Graveside services will be held at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon, MA on Wednesday, August 25th at 11:45 AM.

Shiva will be observed at the home of Howard Seligman on Wednesday from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
