Bernard "Bud" Hodess

He was the beloved husband of nearly 59 years to Barbara (Galvin) Hodess.

Devoted father of Blake G. Hodess of N. Attleboro, MA, Brett A. Hodess & his wife Robyn of Piedmont, CA, Brian K. Hodess & his wife Mary of Rehoboth, MA and Brooke D. Hodess of Los Angeles, CA. Cherished grandfather of Erika, Jacob, Erin, Emily, Hannah, Isabel and Sophie. Loving brother of Herb Hodess, Paul Hodess and Roberta Rovner.

Bud was the founder of Homar, Inc. and Hodess Building Company, successful construction companies that built throughout New England with the help of many loyal employees for many decades.

Funeral services will be held Friday Nov. 1, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington St., Canton, MA. Interment to follow at Sharon Memorial Park.

Shiva will take place on Friday immediately following funeral services until sundown at 100 John L Dietsch Square, North Attleboro, MA 02763.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.

A memorial service at Ibis Golf & Country Club in FL will be announced at a later date.

WE REMEMBER HIM

At the rising of the sun and at its going down,
