She was my Principal in Jr. High and I knrw her son Jeff. She was a very nice woman and devoted to her students. Tge works is a little more dim without her light.

My sincerest condolences on the loss of your beloved wife. We grew up a few houses away from each other. I had been trying to reach her for our recent Hall High reunion, so sorry to hear this news.May her memory be a blessing.

To the family of Debbie, I extend my sincerest condolences. Debbie was kind, thoughtful and wonderful to work with. She cheerfully gave her time to assist with Taste of Stoughton which had a 15 year run.  Her talents for getting things done was phenomenal.

Bob and Debbie organized and chaperoned our HS JR year trip to France. Here we are in Nice. What a beautiful time they showed us. A memory that I will forever cherish.

Thank you Mrs. Levitz. Your memory will continue to live on not only by the students you’ve impacted (myself being one of them), but by this organization. Thank you for being an angel to all of us. Dillion

Dear Mr. Levitz and family. I was very saddened to hear of the passing of Mrs. Levitz. I was a Stoughton School Student in the late 90s/early 2000s. Mrs. Levitz was familiar with my family too as many of my family members attended the Stoughton Schools (Greene’s/Mulcahy’s). While I was a scared kid and I often faced bullying at school because of that, I never forgot the support Mrs. Levitz gave me during my time there and how she made me feel that I had support so I didn’t feel alone. Even now as a grown man many years later, I never forgot that. She impacted more kids during her time at the Stoughton Schools than she’ll ever know. My sincerest condolences to the family. One of the best teachers I ever had. She prepared me for college in 7th grade! God bless your soul Mrs. Levitz!

Baruch Dayan Haemet- may her memory always be for a blessing. A sad day and definitely lots of tears shed from both of us. Jeff, I never got to meet you, but thank you for being such a kind person to my mom during the hardest time in her life (after my father left)

And aunt Debbie you will always be remembered and forever cherished in my heart. You were so hard on me but thank you for being a fierce advocate. 

People didn’t believe deaf kids could read or speak or live normal lives during my time. And she was fierce about making sure I got the education I deserved and became the person I am today! A very very high level reader, BA in english, Masters Candidate and DVM candidate (both accepted to masters and veterinary school ❤️) —- had I not had such an instrumental figure in my life- I may have never been given the chance to operate and function to my highest potential academically.

Mrs. Levitz was an exemplary teacher and I was fortunate to be her student. She set the highest of standards and would expect nothing less than the best. We would say our homework needed to be “Levitized.” I still know all my prepositions (in order). I hope her instructional methods have been institutionalized and widely shared. Her legacy is an inspiration. My condolences to her family, friends, and forever students.

I met Bob and Deborah at a few family functions at their son Mike’s home. Deborah was very warm and welcoming to me. I will always remember her kindness. 

She is in heaven and no longer suffering. My prayers to the Levitz family.

I am so very sorry for your loss. My three children were FORTUNATE  
enough to be  Debbie’s students during their time in Stoughton Jr. High School.  She took them all under her protective wings.  
It is so rare to find someone who truly loved their profession as Debbie did.  She was a gift to all the lives she touched.

My condolences to the family. I was truly saddened to learn of the passing of the "second" matriarch of our family.  That was the way I always viewed Debbie as the eldest of the next generation of our family.  I have a vague memory of her getting me out of trouble with my dad at a big family picnic in Sturbridge Village. Our relationship got a little closer as we aged. The 9-year age difference shrunk. Despite her struggles with her illness she was always cheerful. I really loved her dry wit which is something we shared. Most importantly, I don't want to end this paragraph with a preposition because I saw all of the beautiful tributes from her students.

Mrs. Levitz made a huge impact on my career.  As a computer science major I never realized how important the written word would be to me.  But she knew we all needed to write well.  I ended up managing technical proposal writing for years.  I also still can recite the prepositions!  My condolences to the family.  What a legacy!

Condolences to the family of my demanding but kind English teacher, Mrs. Levitz. The teachers who made you a better person are the ones you remember.  That was Mrs. Levitz.

Mrs . Levitz was a thoughtful teacher who had a lasting impact on me. I think this is why I went back to college to earn a baccalaureate in English and then a Master's degree in English recently. 
I always believed literature taught us so much about life and the world we live in.

Mrs Levitz was a tough teacher and I think while in her class, I may not have appreciated how amazing she was.  She actually really cared and taught each and every kid.  I can still recite all the prepositions because she made everyone recite them in front of the whole class.  I was so scared I would not get them all right.  I did not want to disappoint her.  She was one of the real memorable great teachers.  Prayers to her family and friends.  I am sure many of her students will be posting because she truly made a difference to anyone who was lucky enough to have her as a teacher.

My deepest condolence for your loss. Mrs. Levitz will always remain special to me as she was very instrumental in my education. It was very special seeing her in Stoughton on occasion to catch up. My prayers are with you all.

Mrs Levitz was a strong role model for all women. Never afraid of anyone and she always stood up for her principles and values. I remember her as being active in stoughton politics along with my mother. My deepest condolences. Regina Churchill Boldish

Mrs. Levitz was one of the best educators ever, and a teacher who greatly influenced my life. I can still feel her hand every time I put pen to paper or strike a keyboard. She knew how to teach the power of words so well. She respected the structure as much as the impact of written language. You never wanted to disappoint Mrs. Levitz.  As her family lays her to rest, please know how many lives she positively not only touched, but changed for the better.

Debbie was a wonderfully energetic and inspiring teacher and, later, an encouraging and supportive friend. To Bob and Jeffrey, my sincere condolences.

You were an amazing teacher and made an impact on me. You were tough, but kind. I will always cherish the beautiful letter you wrote to me when  I was in college. Rest in peace
