

Edith was a graduate of the Girls Latin School in Boston. She was a very active member of Temple Beth Am in Randolph for over 50 years, where she proudly served as past president of the Sisterhood. Edith was well known in the Randolph community as a local political activist. She was also an avid tennis player and fan.
Beloved wife of the late Gerald A. Gass. Devoted mother of Robert Gass and his wife Diane of Randolph, Steven Gass and his wife Beverly of Waltham, and Barbara Wolfson and her husband Jim of Wayland. Loving sister-in-law of Trudy and the late Saul Gass of MD. Cherished grandmother of Jonathan Gass and his wife Kathleen, Michael Alan and his wife Rachel, Buddy Gass, Elizabeth Wolfson, Sam Wolfson and great-grandmother of Maxwell, Daniel, Phoebe, and Nathan.
Funeral services at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton, MA, on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at 12:00 noon.
Interment at Sharon Memorial Park.
Memorial observance will be held at the home of Robert and Diane following the interment until 9:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the Edith & Gerald Gass Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Randolph Savings Bank, 129 North Main St., Randolph, MA 02368.
