Daughter of the late Edith (Zeltzer) and Barney C. Titelbaum. Loving wife of Charles H. Swartz of 58 years. Beloved mother of Neal and his wife Judy of Ashland, Stephen of Natick and Karen of Easton. Cherished grandmother of Jared Swartz and Allison Swartz.
Elaine was born in Boston on September 23, 1941 and graduated from Jeremiah E. Burke High School in Dorchester in 1959. She then went on to work in the medical coding field at The Boston Lying-In Hospital. Soon after, she met Charlie on a blind date which led to marriage in 1965. They would eventually move to Holliston to raise their family. There, they became part of a small group that helped to establish Temple Beth Torah where they have continued to enjoy an active and meaningful membership.
Elaine enjoyed genealogy, travel, theater, and collecting Jewish Artwork. But most of all she enjoyed family & friends – especially hosting over 20 people annually for Thanksgiving.
