FREEDMAN COHEN, ESTHER (AZER) of Brockton, formerly of Mattapan. Entered into rest February 8, 2012 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Hyman Cohen and Harry Freedman. Devoted mother of Rosalind Tracht of Brockton, Diane & Sonny Forman of FL, step mother of Ellen & Jay Fredman of Mashpee, Candy Pearlman & Jerry Krigman of AZ and Kenny & Mary Freedman of FL. Beloved sister of the late Minnie Shomes, Louis Azer, Isadore Azer, Betty Wasserman and Anne “The Little One” Azer. Cherished grandmother of Scot and Michael, step grandmother of Lisa, Pam, Amy, Robby, Melissa and the late Scott. Dear aunt of Harriet Warsofsky & her family and many other caring & loving Nieces & nephews. Services will be held at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington St., Canton, on Friday (TODAY), February 10, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Interment Independent Workmen’s Circle Cemetery, West Roxbury. Memorial observance will be held at her late residence on Saturday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM and on Sunday from 1:00-4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to a favorite cancer charity.
