Gerald Robert Levine

Gerry was the son of the late Nathan Levine and Esther Levine. He was born in Boston, MA. He attended Roxbury memorial high school and graduated from Northeastern University in Boston. He moved to Chattanooga, TN in 1984 as he accepted a position at Coronet Industries as a divisional President. He was a former member of Mizpah Congregation and an avid sports fan, he especially loved his Boston Red Sox.

He is survived by his loving wife, Leslie, of 41 years. Devoted father of Nancy Gruber (Murray Ellis), Robin Lerner (Tom Bates), Scott Levine, and Kim Miller. Cherished “Papa” of Marni, Matt, Justin, Jamie, and Mandi. Beloved brother-in-law of Fredda and John Haines, Nancy Sachetti, and Vince Swiniuch, Linda Fainzin, and Tom Guitterez. Nephew of Jill Kurtis, Cousin of David Kurtis, and many other nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at the Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton, MA on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 12:00 Noon. Interment will be in Sharon Memorial Park.

Memorial observance will be held at the home of his daughter Kim on Tuesday and Wednesday from 3:00-5:00 & 7:00-9:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to National Kidney Foundation.
