Jay M. Lipis of Weymouth, MA passed away peacefully on Monday, February 17, 2025, at 68 years of age after his battle with a lengthy illness. Son of the late Rita Wintman Lipis and Saul J. Lipis. Beloved brother of Maxine Zizmor and her husband Matthew of Sharon, Barbara L. Morris and her husband David of Bronxville, NY, and the late Howard A. Lipis. He was the cherished uncle of several nieces and nephews.
Jay was born in Brockton, MA on February 10, 1957. Jay was a generous personal injury attorney who did pro bono work for many of his clients prior to his retirement. He will be missed by his loved ones.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at 12 PM at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton. Burial will follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon. Shiva will be held privately at the home of Maxine and Matthew Zizmor in Sharon.
