Joan M. (Keller) Cohen

Daughter of the late Pearl (Solomon) and Albert G. Keller. Loving wife of the late Maurice J. Cohen for 53 years before his passing in 2016. Beloved mother of Judith C. Labossiere of Lincoln, RI and Paula Beckerman and her husband Marc of Atlanta, GA. Cherished grandmother of Sara Daignault of Glendale, RI and Joshua Labossiere of Smithfield, RI. Great-grandmother of Thomas Daignault, Brynleigh and Adelyn Labossiere. Sister of Louis Keller and his wife Evelyn of Andover. Aunt to Paul Keller and Michelle Thibedeau.

Joan was born in Boston on August 23, 1932. Her stage name was the “Magical Miss”, a magician who performed through her childhood, teens, and young adulthood. She served as the president of the Jewish War Veterans in Lowell, MA, and of numerous Temple Sisterhoods. She received the Woman of Achievement Award from the Jewish Theological Seminary for her dedication and service. She spent her career as an office manager to a large pediatric practice in Massachusetts.
