

Joseph Maroon Kelley of Punta Gorda, Florida, passed away September 23, 2018 at the age of 89. Joe was born April 22, 1929 in Boston, Massachusetts. Joe endured the loss of his first wife, Beatrice (Hindy) Kelley and the premature passing of his daughter, Maureen Mastrogiacomo and daughter-in-law, Phyllis Bennett. He was the pillar of strength for his family. His devotion for his late wife, Bernice (Rood) Kelley, was without bounds. They lived a life full of love and laughter that was centered on family. Nothing meant more than spending time with their grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Joe was an entrepreneur and ran an automotive business for many years. He had a passion for boating and loved being on the ocean. Many family memories include his boat known as the “Albe.” Joe is survived by his sons Scott, Alan and Paul; daughters-in-law Kris and Dolores, and son-in-law, Jocko; his grandchildren Jody, Leah, Emily, Adam, Erica, and Matty; his 12 great-grandchildren Hadyn, Eva, Damian, Paige, Phinney, Soren, Spencer, Saskia, Mateo, Brooke, Lucas and Sloane; and more friends and loved ones than can be counted. Funeral services will be held at StanetskyMemorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton, MA on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at 10:00 AM, followed by burial in Sharon Memorial Park, Sharon, MA.
