Beloved wife of Burton “Bud” Adler. Devoted mother of Andrew Adler and his wife Susan and Margie Cohen and her husband Bill. Cherished grandmother of Joshua Adler and fiancé Cortney Greene, Katie Letendre and spouse Kyle, Michael Adler, Ally Cohen, David Cohen, and Brian Cohen. Janice was predeceased by parents Albert and Lillian Roth and sisters Ann Starr and Florence Bond.
Janice grew up in Dorchester and lived in Sharon, MA for 65 years. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Boston University and was a special education teacher at the Cottage Street School in Sharon. She loved gardening, book club, cooking, and spending time on the beach.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 28th at 1:00 PM at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton, followed by burial at Sharon Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Janice’s memory may be made to Friends of the Sharon Council on Aging.
