Daughter of the late Fannie (Shuman) and Samuel Shelly. Loving wife of the late Arthur F. Kaplan. Beloved mother of Melisa Hanrahan and her husband James of Randolph; Stacey Kaplan and her husband Paul Zenga of Holbrook; Steven Kaplan of Allston; and Eric Kaplan of Sydney, Australia. Cherished grandmother of Kimberly Joyner and her husband Barry and the late Jennifer Hanrahan. Great grandmother to Ilana, Jocelyn, Clive and Niles.
Lorraine was born in Boston, MA on September 15, 1937. She grew up in Mattapan and Dorchester. Later relocated to Milton where she lived for 60+ years. She loved entertaining, cooking, baking, knitting, and most recently, her friends and activities at Fuller Village.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service on Friday, September 15, 2023 at 12:45 PM at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon.
