Louis M. Berman of North Easton (formerly of Sharon), passed away peacefully after gracefully fighting a long illness on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 76 years of age. Loving son of the late Anna (Marden) and Robert Berman. Devoted husband of Leslie (Weiner) Berman of 52 years. Beloved father of Rachel Colchamiro and her husband Dan of Mansfield and Steven Berman and his wife Laura of Brooklyn, NY. Cherished grandfather of Jesse, Zoe, Jack and Joanna. Loving brother of the late Ina and husband Larry Cherkas. Dear brother-in-law of Zane Weiner and his wife Niki. Cherished son-in-law of Helen and the late Matt Weiner. Loving uncle to Lauren Cherkas and Neal Cherkas and his wife Melanie McShane. Louis was born and grew up in Winthrop, Massachusetts and attended Northeastern University for his undergraduate and graduate degrees. He was the ultimate administrator with a long career in the public and private sector. Louis loved doo wop and riding his bike, and was a lifelong Celtics fan. Most of all, he loved his family and treasured the friends that were part of his life. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Chapel Service on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at 10AM. Burial will follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon, MA. Shiva will be held immediately following the funeral at the Fox Hill Clubhouse on Preston Place in North Easton until 3pm. Shiva will continue Wednesday evening at 6 pm, Thursday 1-4pm and 6-8pm, and on Friday 1-4pm at the Berman home.
