Born in Paterson, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Ida (Blutner) Mayer.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Helene Garber and son-in-law Donald Bookstein, her son Alan Stark, her grandchildren Jeff Garber (Ryan Levasseur), Rachel Dymond (Gabriel Dymond) and Caren Droesch (Mike Droesch), her great-grandchildren Claire and Sophie Garber, Bradley, Isabella and Chloe Dymond, and Garrett Droesch, and her step-grandchildren Sarah Thomas and Allison Bookstein.
Graveside services and burial at Sharon Memorial Park, Sharon, MA will be private.
