Robert "Bob" Goldstein

Dearly beloved husband of 37 years to Rhoda (Epstein) Goldstein, devoted father of Faye (Paul) Herzich of Wharton, NJ, and loving stepfather of Susan Kayla Sosnow of Gainesville, FL and David (Eleanor Thompson) Sosnow of Downers Grove, IL. Bob passed at home surrounded by loved ones on December 16th at the age of 94. Bob was loved by grandchildren Paul (Andrea) Herzich III, Mandie (Timothy) Stewart, Zachary Sosnow and Anna Sosnow, great grandchildren Will, Emelia, Riley, Abigail, and Samantha, and many nieces and nephews.

Bob was predeceased by his parents, Miriam and Abraham Goldstein, siblings Harold, Gene, and Harriet Slavin and his first wife Muriel Stutman.

Bob was the owner of Crystal Optics in Danvers, MA, and served clients throughout New England, retiring in 1998. He was an excellent and ethical businessman esteemed by all. He liquidated his business in 1998, moving to Florida with Rhoda. They traveled abroad and loved being at home as well. He was happiest spending time with his wife and family.

Bob was known as sweet and kind. He was a true mensch. He loved playing canasta, and complained about dominoes, but was the first ready to play. Bob was always ready with a smile and a joke. Every day with him was a happy one.
