

Born October 28, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Anne and John (Jack) Caras. She was predeceased by her late husband Mason Markow. She is survived by her children Janet Bonvini and husband Alfred of Plainville, Jerry Markow and wife Cathleen of Salem, NH, and David Markow of Milford. Sister of Laura Kanter and late husband Harry and Sandra Aronson and husband Sam. Grandmother of Jim and Carolyn Correia, Melissa and Bill Walsh, Tina Peters, Megan Correia, Daniel and Kristen Markow, Jon and Ashley Markow, Lindsey and Jimmy Spadea, Brianna Markow, Aaron Markow and Shawn Markow. Great grandmother of Mason Dyer, Danny Markow, Joey Markow, Julian Markow, Charleigh Markow, Milo Markow and Giorgi Markow.
In her early days, Selma was an active Cub Scout Leader, involved with her bowling league and an avid camper. For the past two years, she resided at Pond Home in Wrentham and became very popular with her involvement in activities. She introduced the game Rummikub and was hard to beat!
Selma’s greatest love was her family. She spend 25 years living with her daughter Janet and husband Al in Framingham, then Plainville.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Monday, March 27, 2023 at 10 AM at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton. Burial will follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon.
