Sharon Amy Francer of Hull, MA, died peacefully on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at 71 years of age. The daughter of Shirley and Hecky Francer, she was a loving sister to Larry Francer (husband Jerome Herron) and Beth Napurano (husband Chris Napurano), and the cherished aunt of Harry Wurth and Ben Wurth. She is also survived by many cousins and friends.
Sharon was born in Boston in 1954 and spent her early childhood years tearing it up with Shirley in the streets of Brookline. She then moved with her parents to live with her Nana and Papa on H Street in Hull until the family home on Central Ave was built. Her brother Laury was born shortly after and they enjoyed a fun filled, heavy on the ice cream life, until, surprise – Beth was born! Sharon was in Hull High School’s class of 1972, graduated from Ithaca College School of Music and continued to get her Masters in Music Education.
Sharon felt that everyone needed to find their passion, and hers was music. She was a composer, vocalist, pianist, and teacher. She started her teaching career at the New England Conservatory of Music and was encouraged to always continue singing by Ran Blake. She then took her talents to the Plymouth School System where she worked her magic as a teacher, mentor, accompanist for the school musicals, and a positive light to all, before retiring after 35 years of service.
Sharon was an avid traveler, she adored Israel and the Dead Sea, bringing back jewelry and pottery every time she went. She was a life member of Hadassah and an active member of Temple Beth Shalom, serving on their board and as the choir director. Sharon practiced Kundalini yoga, was a certified instructor and wore only white cotton from head to toe for over a decade. She dipped her toes into piano bar performing and dipped her entire body into the ocean and bay waters with gusto and joy. She is remembered for her beautiful sea glass jewelry that she gathered on her many walks of her beloved Nantasket beach.
Sharon dedicated many of her years living in Hull to taking care of her aging parents. Her devotion to them and willingness to respect their wishes of staying in their home of over 60 years took up much of her time and energy. She was a born caretaker and gave of herself to many.
Sharon will be remembered by everyone whose lives she touched for her beautiful spirit, her infectious laugh, her positive energy, her selflessness and her endless love.
