Stuart Harold Rosenberg of Stoughton passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at 87 years of age. Son of the late Annette (Riman) Silverstein and Louis Rosenberg. Loving husband of Arlene B. (Feinstein) Rosenberg of 59 years. Beloved father of Louis M. Rosenberg and his husband, Richard F. Grenier, of Stoughton, and Gary Rosenberg and his wife, Maureen, of Northbridge. Cherished grandfather of Dylan Rosenberg.
Stuart was born in Boston on November 17, 1937. He was the past President of Mattapan Board of Trade, past President of Ahavath Torah Congregation of Stoughton, was the owner of Alson’s Men’s Store in Mattapan Square and was the popular morning drive radio host along with his son Gary, “Stu in The Morning,” with WMSX 1410 AM in Brockton for many years. He accomplished much and was loved by everyone, especially his family.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at 11 AM at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton. Burial will follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon. Shiva will be held after interment at Copley of Stoughton, 380 Sumner Street, Stoughton.
