Daughter of the late Sarah (Marcus) and Benjamin Pober. Loving wife of the late Abram Tartak. Beloved mother of Esther Anastasia and her husband Warren of Sharon, and Ben-Zion Tartak and his wife Shahnaz Malekan of Great Neck, NY. Cherished grandmother of Ari Jankelowitz and his wife Rachel Berger, Adam Jankelowitz, Omeed Tartak, and Sahar Tartak. Loving great-grandmother of Colin and Sadie Jankelowitz. Sister of Zalmon Pober and his wife Cheryl of Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Vivian was born in Philadelphia, PA on November 7, 1933. Vivian graduated Temple University in Philadelphia with a Bachelors in Education and Beaver College in Pennsylvania with a Masters in Early Childhood Education. She was a kindergarten teacher for 45 years at the J. Hampton Moore Public School in Philadelphia. Vivian also taught Head Start in Philadelphia and was a long-term substitute after retirement in the Boston and Sharon public school systems. Vivian adored children and saw the beauty and kindness in everyone she met.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service on Monday, January 2, 2022 at 11:45 AM at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon. Shiva will be private.
