Alva "Bub" Selinsky

Alva M. “Bub” Selinsky, age 93, of North Canton, died Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010 at home. He was born April 2, 1917 to the late Henry A. & Elna (Thorley) Selinsky. An avid equestrian, he was the owner and president of Henry A. Selinsky Inc., and a member of Zion United Church of Christ.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth and Betty. Bub is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Vivian (Giey), daughter Joan (Lynn) Hylton of N. Canton, sons, Ned (Nancy) of N. Canton, Tim (Carol) of Massillon, John (Pam) of N. Canton, and Jeff (Debbie) of New Philadelphia; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; brothers Neil and Warren Selinsky both of Canton.

Funeral service will be held 11am on Monday, November 8, 2010 at Zion United Church of Christ, 415 S. Main Street, North Canton, Ohio with the Rev. Eli O. Klingensmith officiating. Interment in North Canton Cemetery. Friends will be received 1-4pm on Sunday, November 7th at Karlo-Feucht Funeral Home, 5000 Everhard Road N.W., Canton.
