Barbara "Barb" Jean Littleton

Barb was born in Canton on November 25, 1943, to the late Lesley and Hazel (Jackson) Thorley. She was a graduate of the 1961 class of Sandy Valley High School. Barb loved flowers and was well known for her green thumb. Later in life she enjoyed spending her free time playing bingo.

Barb is survived by her two children: Michael Hilgert and Kristina Littleton; three grandchildren: Michael Hilgert, Jr., Rachelle Casey, and Daniel Anthon, Jr.; three siblings: Patricia McDade, Don Thorley, and Bev Thorley; and many nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

Along with her parents, Barb is preceded in death by two children, Douglas P. Hilgert and Theresa Anthon.

Per Barb’s wishes, a cremation will take place, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. For those who wish, memorial donations can be made in Barb’s name to the Stark County Humane Society at https://www.starkhumane.org/Donate.
