

Charlie was born February 25, 1935 in Canton, Ohio to Charles and Vera Hill. After graduating in 1953 from Lincoln High School, he served in the United States Army in Fort Benning, Georgia. He was a mechanical engineer and successful business owner. Charlie loved playing cards with his many friends, traveling, and spending time with his family. Proud of his classic cars, he won several awards at car shows.
Charlie was preceded in death by his parents; first wife of 35 years, Bev; sister, Nancy and Bill Cordrey; son, Mike; and step-daughter, Julie Ross.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Barb; son, Greg (Carin); daughter-in-law, Laurie; son, Doug (Julie); step-son, John (Karen); step-daughter, Jodi (Tom); 10 grandchildren, Michael, Quinn, Katie, Liz, Kaylee, Kelsey, Tony (Kara), Tim (Michelle), Nik, Ariana; 3 great grandchildren, Jordon, Bella, and Jade, who is expected to arrive in December; brother-in-law, Ken Wilson; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Marilyn and Jim Lyon; nieces, nephews, and many good friends.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, November 1st from 6 to 8pm at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 2nd at 11am at St. Michael’s Catholic Church with interment at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
