

She was born June 3, 1952 in Canton, Ohio to the late William Paul, Sr. and Jeannette Ruth (Jones) Quinlan. Cheryl was a graduate of Canton McKinley High School, and worked in food service most of her life. She enjoyed baking and was an avid traveler who enjoyed cruises. Cheryl was actively involved in the lives of her grandchildren, attending dance recitals and school activities. She also enjoyed solving word puzzles and playing word games. Cheryl was a real "people person" who could converse with anyone she met. She was a big country music fan and animal lover.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 50 years, Steven Douglas Rusnok; sisters, Debbie and Dot; and brothers, Bill and Jeff. She is survived by her children, Jason Rusnok and Nicole (Joe) Slys; grandchildren, Emma and Allison Slys.
As per her wishes, a cremation service is planned. The family extends their appreciation to the doctors and nurses of Aultman Hospice for their compassionate care of Cheryl and her family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Aultman Hospice, 2821 Woodlawn Ave. NW, Canton, OH 44708.
